Alors que nous pensions tous que Bungie travaillait sur un nouveau jeu totalement différent de l’univers de Halo, Phoenix ( Cf.news ), le site américain IGN lance une rumeur: une sortie de Halo 3 sur Xbox 360 (nom supposé pour la Xbox 2) plus tôt que prévu !
En effet, Microsoft Games Studio aurait commandé aux studio Bungie la suite des aventures de MC pour contrer la sortie de la nouvelle console de Sony intitulée PS3 aux alentours de noël 2006 !
